Sowerby Bridge Rotary Club

We are now approximately half way through this Presidential year and I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you for all the hard work that has produced such successful events  so far.

The Presidents Evening was enjoyed by all. It was particularly poignant for Hazel  and I because it was 34 years after the day we met! Our “Welcome to Christmas “ event was well attended and was again held at the delightful venue of Stones Methodist Church. Our next seasonal event is the Christmas party, which takes place on the 18th December, We will be pitting our wits in a specially designed Christmas quiz. Finally I would like to pass on some advice regarding Christmas shopping choices as contained within an old Yorkshire proverb.
